Meendinya and Meenbinya arrested by Police Trooper Morris on suspicion of having murdered a hutkeeper named Sheppard at Fowler’ Bay in 1859. While transporting the prisoners to Cooeyanna Police station Meendinya, while resisting the Trooper, was shot and killed.
