About

Australian Wars and Resistance is a broad collective working to provide reliable information about frontier conflict in Australia from 1788 to the 1830s. Building on prior research, the project responds to a century of calls for acknowledgement of colonial frontier conflict and aims to inform research, education, and truth-telling about our history.

Approximately 60 historians and leading Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people have expressed support for and willingness to contribute to the project, including experienced historians, writers, and knowledge holders. The following are those who have consented to their names being shown. Please contact us if you would like to be part of this effort. Please contact us if you would like to be part of this effort.
