13 Nov 1867 — Near BeltanaAboriginal man, Peter Franklin (aka Port Lincoln Peter) allegedly killed by Warrakimbo Reuben and three others near Beltana. Tried for the murder in the Supreme Court, Warrakimbo Reuben was found not guilty.

5 Aug 1868 — Five mile Creek, between Ediowie and Nilpena stationKilling of James Wade on the Beltana run on 5 August 1868, allegedly by Aboriginal man named Warrakimbo Reuben. Reportedly Wade was killed trying to take Reuben into custody on suspicion that he was wanted for an earlier killing of Aboriginal man Peter Franklin.
