The bodies of boys Karakunderi and Yurdlori, husband and wife Puyultua and Ngaminia and infant Pirrapa were found on Mortlock’s station near Tumby Bay. Inspector Tolmer, George Lawson (surgeon) and Clamor Schurmann (interpreter) investigated. All deceased died after eating poisoned flour taken from the hut of shepherd Patrick Dwyer.
