  “George Rostrine, a shepherd, in the employ of Mr. McLeay, on the Murrumbidgee, lost himself and flock in the bush, near Billy Bong Forest, and got into a tract of country void of water; it is considered that he had kept by his flock for two or three days: had he continued to do so, his life would have been saved.”
