Police fire upon a party of Aboriginal people, near Cape Radstock, 12 November 1850
Police, accompanied by two settlers, search for the missing Sheep Farmer Baird and recover his stolen sheep. They come upon a camp of Aboriginal people who resist when they try to arrest them. One Aboriginal man is shot and killed and another, Pulgulta, is arrested.
