Place: A secluded waterhole near Kirton Point, Port Lincoln
Nathaniel Hailes was told by Aboriginal people from the Port Lincoln district that white men shot three Aboriginal men and abducted two women. The white men were ship deserters and the women were taken to an island a ‘considerable’ distance away.
