Place: White’s station, Port Lincoln district
On 20 February 1842, one of White’s shepherds came into town with three spears. He said that about thirty natives came to his hut every morning to rob it. He had taken one spear out of a sheep, and the other two spears were thrown at him. He fired his rifle but it was dark and he could not say if he killed anyone.
