On 15 February, six Aboriginal men climbed through the window of Magistrate Matthew Smith’s house at Happy Valley and took a large quantity of potatoes, unbleached linen, kangaroo hides and sacks. Around the same time, Mr Shean was robbed of a coat and travel bag.
